Nordiska Museet (Djurgårdsvägen 6-16, Stockholm) – this is Sweden’s largest museum of cultural history (home to over one and a half million exhibits, including exclusive items and everyday objects, all with their own unique history). Visitors here can see exhibitions on Swedish trends and traditions in areas such as home interiors, fashion, celebrations and festivals (reflecting life in Sweden from the 16th century to the present day). Admission: 100 SEK (adult), free for children 18 years and under. Hours: 10 am – 5 pm (daily). Also open on Wednesday evenings (except for June-August) until 8 pm with free admission after 5 pm.
